Connie Becker - Family Support 360 Coordinator

I have been with South Dakota Achieve for a total of eleven years.  Recently, November of 2008, I transferred to a new career working with children with disabilities and their families through the Family Support Program.  The mission of Family Support is to help families be successful with caring for their children with special needs within their own home.  The passion and dedication to this mission is very important to me and I strive to achieve daily.   Prior to becoming a Family Support Coordinator I also worked as a Service Coordinator, Coordinator of Support Services in the residential homes at Achieve (both for adults with disabilities).  I also have experience working in Minnesota in the human services field for eleven years. My husband, Jason, and I have two daughters. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and having fun.

Stacy Van Horssen- Family Support 360 Coordinator

The Family Support 360 program is new to South Dakota Achieve, and I am new to the agency as well.  Prior to my time with SD Achieve, I’ve worked in a helpline call center, provided project management to a medical company and have been a supervisor at a crisis domestic violence shelter.  I have a Masters of Science in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University and have a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of Sioux Falls.   In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, playing with our energetic Maltese, visiting with family and friends, traveling and reading a good book.
